Cyberspace (PRADULT) May 14, 2010 - It has been several months since the launch of www.straightdownthetubes.com, which is collaboration between XXXJay and Immoral Productions. The theory being, so much porn is being given away for free; why not take some original exclusive content we’ve shot and attempt to monetize it like the pirates are doing?

Now that we are a little ways into this thing we can look back and see what we’ve done right and done wrong:

Build In and They Will Come? We were foolish enough to think that putting our exclusive content out there for free, everyone would come running, right? Not so much. It is very hard to compete with any of the 5 major tubes and you can find almost any scene with any porn star on it in full length.

So, we had to purchased so a bunch of movies from other companies to supplement our exclusive content. We combined this with the channels we created based around each of Immoral Productions popular series such as Fuck A Fan, Don’t Cum Inside Me, Squirtamania, Cum Hunters, Green Card Cuties and more. We even took things to the next level by offering some uncut “behind the porn scenes” footage – which seems to be a pretty big hit with fans because it shows what the porn life are really like!

Some of the things we’ve been doing that have been going very well such as our live shoots that are broadcast through Camz each day on the front page. They are now gathering rather large audiences. In fact, many of the producers and performers of adult films frequently watch the seshows and they are quite the rage out here in Porn Valley, USA.

Our business venture has been able to turn a profit, which is amazing for a new project in this economy. I would like to draw an analogy between Ultimate Fighting and Straightdownthetubes.com: For the first 10 years or so that UFC was around they didn’t have any sponsors at all. The only guys that would give them sponsorship were Mickey’s Malt Liquor. Now they have Budweiser, Harley, and the US Army advertising on UFC daily.

I guess we are still trying to find our own Malt Liquor Company.
