Cyberspace (PRADULT) October 8, 2008 -Porn Star Ameatabh Bachan is a star from a different world. After all, he is, the only Indian to act in adult movies made by Hollywood and be nominated for an AVN award (the Oscars for adult movies).

It all began with Bachan’s initial gigs in adult movies. “I initially got involved acting for Vivid Video and Video Team. I was working quite a bit with the top director, Ren Savant. He continues, “Initially, they didn’t know about all this but since everyone gets the Playboy channel, Hot Network, or Cinemax at home in the US, they started getting calls from friends who were shocked to know that an Indian could act in such movies. But my parents turn a blind eye to it all. I still get the occasional lecture.” Ameatabh Bachan (also known as his character Osama Gets Laiden) derived his name as a parody of his favorite Bollywood star during childhood. Going back to the porn industry in the West, Bachan reveals that all actors are required to carry a certificate of their most recent AIDS/STD test. “I don’t see drugs on the set as much as I used to, but perhaps it’s because I am out of all this.” Do American porn movies involve censorship? “Yeah! The last company I shot even has their films go through a company psychologist to ensure there’s nothing emotional damaging in the content! I’m not sure why the U.S. is so uptight on censorship.” What Ameatabh Bachan does know though is that Hollywood’s porn industry has the hots for him!

What does Bachan have in store next? “I’m looking forward to working with Priya Rai & Anjali Kara for some all India on Indian scenes, I hear fans in Indian are clamoring to see me with them in particular!”
