Redding, CA (PRADULT) May 31, 2007 — Popular webmaster, David Navarro, aka After Shock Media, has announced that after six years of being engaged to his fiancé, Julia, they are going to finally tie the knot. They will be getting married on July 4, 2007.

While some may find irony in getting married on “Independence Day,� Navarro states that not only will he be unable to forget his wedding anniversary, but also everyone in the country will help them celebrate with “free fireworks and super sales on booze.�

Navarro, paralyzed from the waist down as the result of an accident at the age of 12, recently ended a three-month hospital stay. With no insurance to help with the expenses, so he has decided to reach out to the GFY community for some assistance in his wedding plans.

“Since this is my first and last marriage, I would like to make this special to my new bride. It would be wonderful if I could dance with her on our wedding day,� Navarro stated.

As this can be quite difficult for someone paralyzed from the waist down, Navarro has put out a “wedding wish list� on the webpage he constructed to announce his wedding. Topping this list is an iBot Mobility System.

According to Navarro, the iBot is very similar to the Segway in that it balances itself using gyroscopic dynamic stabilization. If you lean forward in it, you move forward, lean backward, move backward, etc. It also raises you up to an eye-to-eye level with standing people.

Navarro says that if a sponsor program steps up to help him get the iBot chair, “I’ll get it decked out in your logos and make an appearance at a major show using it to promote you the whole time. Maybe we can even paint some bad-ass racing stripes on it.�
