Chatsworth, CA (PRADULT) February 24, 2007 — Empire Video Distributors and Triplex Distribution announced today that they have finalized negotiations to consoolidate their sales forces and support staffs.

The plan calls for Triplex to move its operations into Chatsworth-based Empire’s 13,000 square foot facility over the next few weeks. Product will be shipped and invoiced under the Empire name.

The owners of the respective companies are seeking to streamline their operations by working from a common warehouse. This will allow them to take advantage of market conditions by decreasing costs and increasing productivity.

“Empire and Triplex have grown along a parallel path and have a great history of cooperation,� said Triplex President Eric Hannah. “This seemed to us like a natural evolution, especially given the changing nature of the industry.�

“The chance to bring more than two dozen veteran sales people under one roof was too good to resist,� added Empire President Roy Karch. “It’s an All-Star Team the likes of which this industry may never see again. The staff will represent over 450 years of combined experience – four and a half centuries of knowledge and expertise that we’ll be bringing to our customers.�
