Houston, TX (PRADULT) October 5, 2006 – Rick’s Cabaret International, Inc. (NASDAQ: RICK) reported sales for its chain of adult nightclubs in September were $2,183,660, an increase of 40.66 percent over the previous year total of $1,552,413. The strong showing brought nightclub sales for the company’s fourth quarter ending September 30th to $6,138,228, an increase of 49.78 percent over the fourth quarter of 2005.

Monthly same club sales were up 32 percent to $2,048,375 over September 2005. Rick’s Cabaret New York City, which opened in September 2005, is now included in same club sales figures while the company’s two new clubs in San Antonio and a new XTC Cabaret club in South Houston are not.

“We are very pleased with our continuing progress,� said Eric Langan, CEO of Rick’s Cabaret. “Now that our New York City club is included in same club sales it is easy to see that we are showing strong organic growth and are also benefiting from the contribution of our new acquisitions.�
