Using the blog format of the site was partly due to ease of use for approved surfers to log in and add a review. A side effect of the blog format turned out to be very targeted search engine traffic, where surfers arriving at the blog have searched for the reviewed sites, or keywords applying to them. Also, thanks to the blog format, RSS feeds are available at the site, free for all webmasters to use on their own sites. The concept of letting real surfers review gay sites has proven successful, and now GaySitesReviews.com is looking for more sites to review. Also, more surfers are welcome to apply for reviewer positions.
