Los Angeles, CA (PRADULT) February 7, 2006 — The prestigious online adult retail site Adult DVD Empire has posted the 2005 Empire Awards nominations, and Wicked Pictures’ hit Jonathan Morgan comedy “The Camp Cuddly Pines Power Tool Massacre” has shredded a swath of critical acclaim through the proceedings, capturing eight of the 14 nominations earned by the company. This comes hot on the heels of the DVD’s recent triumph at the 2006 AVN Awards, where it won a total of five trophies, including Best Sex Comedy.

The hilarious horror satire’s new nominations include recognition for Best Feature DVD, Best Overall DVD, Best DVD Menu Design, Best DVD Video Quality, Best Audio Quality, Best DVD Commentary, and the coveted Viewers Choice Award, a prize determined by fan polls. Brad Armstrong’s brooding Devinn Lane thriller “Lovers Laneâ€? also received significant praise from the site, scoring nominations for both Best Overall DVD and Best Feature DVD.

Wicked contract megastar Stormy Daniels, a 2006 AVN multi-award winner for both her supporting role and writing contributions to “The Camp Cuddly Pines Power Tool Massacre,” received further Empire Award attention thanks to her “greatest hits” collection “Forever Stormy,â€? which received a nomination in the Best Compilation DVD category.
