The Story:
All about Anna is a couples oriented hardcore feature film. It’s about a modern woman, Anna, who’s trying to distance herself from romantic relationships. When she is tempted to resume a relationship with Johan, the man who broke her heart five years previously, she instead leaves the country to pursue a career in Paris. They are both miserable, and may seem destined for each other, but when Anna returns prematurely to resolve the matter, she finds Johan sleeping in the same bed as her tenant Camilla, and this sends Anna even further on her voyage of self-discovery.

As you can see, it’s possible to describe the story without describing any of the sex scenes.
It means there is a story. In traditional hardcore porn the Story barely exists. That’s a very important difference between traditional porn and Zentropa’s go at it.

The principal actress:
Anna is played by the Danish film- and musical star Gry Bay, who got her breakthrough playing one of the main characters in the German TV-series “Dr. Monika Lindt�, and recently played the female lead in the hip-hop comedy feature “Slim Slam Slum� (aka: Joystick Nation), for which she also composed several songs. On stage Gry Bay has sung and danced in such shows as “West Side Story�, “Grease�, “Guys and Dulls� and “Crazy for You�. Additional she is the lead singer for the band Crispy and she is one of the coconuts in Kid Creole & the Coconuts. Gry Bay has toured Denmark, England, Italy and USA.

The principal actor:
Johan is played by the English actor Mark Steven, who is graduated from the Birmingham University and trained at the Birmingham Theatre School. Theatre roles include a lot of leading roles in the major English theatres. Previous films include “The Waiting�, “Journey to the Centre of the Earth�, “Chasing Liberty� and “Alien Vs. Predator�.

Co-starring:
Co-starring as Anna’s friend Camilla is British model, singer and actress Eileen Dala, who also performs the songs from her CD-album “Forbidden Fruit�.

In other supporting parts, as Anna’s frustrated suitors, features Danish actors Thomas Raft, who has appeared in the Emmy Award winning TV-series “Rejseholdet� and Morten Schelbech, a Shakespearean actor with a rich theatrical background. Also appearing is the Canadian filmmaker Thomas Lundy.

In a special guest-starring role appears French actress, director and author Ovidie.

Production:
A co-production of Innocent Pictures and Zentropa Productions, All about Anna is a slice of life romantic comedy with explicit erotic scenes. It follows the Pussy Power manifesto made by Zentropa in 1998, and is made by women, for women.

Zentropa is Scandinavia’s biggest film production company, best know for the Dogme-manifesto and for award-winning feature films such as Lars von Trier’s “Dancer in the Dark�, starring Björk and “Dogville�, starring Nicole Kidman.
